ATM GWARZO'S MINISTERIAL NOMINATION: REWARD FOR PATIENCE & LOYALTY - HARUNA ABUBAKAR BEBEJI 
Congratulations to Engr. Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo on his nomination as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is an honorable appointment and a testament to his virtues, patience, loyalty, dedication, and hard work. 

Engr. Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo, popularly known as Ruwa Baba, has an impressive track record in public service, and his new role is well-deserved.

Engr. Gwarzo's journey in public service began as the former Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State, where he showcased his leadership skills and commitment to the people. His outstanding performance and dedication led him to be nominated as the then Kano State Deputy Governor Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.

Doubling his role as Deputy Governor, Engr. Gwarzo served as the Kano State Commissioner of Water Resources. This position allowed him to make significant contributions towards addressing the water scarcity issues in the state. His leadership and innovative approach were highly commendable, and his efforts have undoubtedly improved the lives of many people in Kano State.
Engr. Gwarzo's service to the local government cannot be overlooked either. He served as the Chairman of Gwarzo Local Government of Kano State on multiple occasions. Under his leadership, the local government witnessed massive development and progress. His vision and determination have transformed Gwarzo into a model community in Kano State.

Furthermore, Engr. Gwarzo's role as the Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) in Kano State allowed him to advocate for the rights and needs of local governments. His commitment to the grassroots level and understanding of their issues further demonstrated his dedication to serving the people.
T. Gwarzo contested for the Kano State Gubernatorial Candidate of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) in 2011 with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the party's National Leader then; a demonstration of the trust and confidence the party and the people had in him.

Engr. Gwarzo's longstanding alliance with President Bola Tinubu, the former leader of the ACN, speaks volumes about his character and competence. President Tinubu's knowledge of his abilities undoubtedly played a significant role in his nomination. His experience, expertise, patience, loyalty and integrity make him an invaluable asset to the President's team.

This kind of reward for loyalty and patience is not uncommon in politics, where politicians often value and reward those who have remained steadfast and reliable over time.
Gwarzo's nomination also shows the importance of building strong relationships and alliances in politics. By sticking by Tinubu's side for over a decade, Gwarzo has not only demonstrated his loyalty but also likely gained the trust and respect of the political leader. This trust and respect can be crucial in securing influential positions and opportunities.
