ENGR. BASHIR I. BASHIR REPRESENTS VICE PRESIDENT-ELECT TO CONDOLE THE FAMILY OF ALHAJI MUSA GWADABE


A delegation of the Vice President-elect, Alhaji Kashim Shettima led by the Director General Game Changers for Asiwaju/Shettima 2023 Engr. Bashir Ishaq Bashir has visited the family of elder statesman, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe to condole with them over their recent losses.

Musa Gwadabe, a former Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and founding father of the PDP as well as a former Chieftain of the defunct ACN and a longstanding political associate of the President-elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, died on Wednesday 26th April, 2023.

Other persons on the delegation included AIG Muhammad Hadi Zarewa (Rtd.), General Idris Bello Dambazau (Rtd.), Alhaji Gidado Bashir, Engr. Ali Abdulsalam and others.

Speaking at the Musa Gwadabe's residence, Engr. Bashir I. Bashir said the politician's loss was not only a loss to his family going by his pedigree and contributions to nation-building.

He said Alhaji Kashim Shettima regards the Late Musa Gwadabe as a father and political mentor and had also wanted to pay the condolence visit personally but for sudden official engagement that took him out of the country.

He described Gwadabe as a forthright progressive politician and honourable man who supported the President-elect and the APC all through.

Engr. Bashir on behalf of Alhaji Kashim Shettima prayed for the soul of the deceased while calling on his immediate family to immortalize the Late Gwadabe by emulating his values.

Alhaji Nazif Gwadabe who received the delegation on behalf of the Late Gwadabe Family expressed appreciation to the delegation and the Vice President-elect for the condolence visit and prayed for the success of the incoming administration.
